She died April 28 in Konawa. Funeral services were held May 1 at Prairie Springs Church with Rev. Joe SMITH officiating. Pallbearers were members of the Prairie Springs Church. Interment was at the Sands Family Cemetery in Castle. Her parents were Lemley and Lena HICKS. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, Tommy SANDS, and one sister, Rita SANDS. Her survivors include her mother of Castle; her children, James, Matthew, and Shanon NUTTLE, all of the home; three brothers, Ronnie SANDS of Ft. Gibson, Rickey SANDS and Bobby SANDS, both of Pennsylvania; and one sister, Stacy SCOTT of Okemah; one half brother, Robert SANDS of Seattle, WA; two half sisters, Sandra GREENROCK of Okemah, and Linda SANDS of Shawnee; and several nieces and nephews.
