Funeral services were held at Montezuma Baptist Church with Revs. David PIERCE and Kellos WALKER officiating. Pallbearers were: Dennis MORGAN, Tommy MORGAN, Michael MORGAN, Ronnie MORGAN, Buddy KING, and Johnny MORGAN. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth MORGAN, James KING, Earl KING, and Louis MORGAN, III. She was the daughter of March and Soshoye (HARJOCHEE) DAVIS, who preceded her in death. She was married to Johnny CHEEK for 53 years and was well known for her beadwork. She is survived by her husband of the home, her eight children; John KING of Oklahoma City, Anderson CHEEK of Glenn Heights, TX, Kenneth CHEEK of Tulsa, John CHEEK of Arlington, VA, Jerry CHEEK of Albuquerque, NM, Mary GARCIA of Dallas, TX, Laura BUSHYHEAD of Oklahoma City, and Barbara COLLINS of Tulsa; two sisters, Josephine MORGAN of Morris and Marrion DAVIS of Okmulgee; and 14 grandchildren.
