She died December 25, 1998. Funeral services were held December 31 at Bethel Baptist Church. No other information was given on the funeral service or interment. She attended schools in Colorado, graduating from Hinkley High School in Aurora, CO, She was a member of the Arizona State Bar. With her background in both law and mortgage banking, she was instrumental in developing and managing the Crooked Tree housing project, a tenement for the homeless. While in Denver, she was an active member of the Denver Indian Center. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, George and Elizabeth Burgess SULLIVAN and Bill and Minnie CASEY, all of the Okmulgee area. She is survived by her parents, Shirley and Lieurance SULLIVAN, her sister, Linda GRUNO; her niece and nephew, Sean GRUNO and Asha BAUER; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
