She died March 9, 1998. Prayer services were held at Smith Funeral Home March 10. Wake Services were held March 11 at Oakhurst Indian Fellowship Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at Smith Funeral Home on March 12 with Revs. Bill ALEXANDER and Jimmy ALEXANDER officiating. Pallbearers were Jerry WILSON, Alfred WILSON, James FACTOR, Bryan CANADY, Gerald WOFFORD, Johnny TIGER and Tom TIGER. Interment was in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Sapulpa. She was married to Henry WALKINGSTICK, deceased, in 1944. Also preceding her in death were her mother, Ida HARJO, and two sons, John WALKINGSTICK and Daniel WALKINGSTICK. She is survived by her five children, Wynema WILLIAMS of Boise, ID, Frank JOHNSON and Leona HARJO, both of Oakhurst, Roman JOHNSON of Anadarka, Rowena JOHNSON of Albuquerque, NM, and Irene CREEK of Tulsa; two sisters, Alice STEVENS of Tulsa and Mattie Lou FACTOR of Sasakwa; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
