She died March 12, 1984, in Okmulgee. She was a member of the Newtown Indian Methodist Church. Funeral services were held March 15 at Cantrell Ivory Chapel with Rev. Dan SEXTON officiating. Pallbearers were Richard DAWSON, Kenneth DAWSON, Bobby HORNE, Freddy SADLER, and Clay SADLER. No information on where she was interred. She was preceded in death by her husband Clois ARCHER in 1943. Survivors include son Peter ARCHER, of the home; and three brothers, Rufus COX of Ada, Claude COX (Chief of the Muscogee Nation) and Porter COX, both of Okmulgee; and one sister, Ann GORDON of Okmulgee.
