He died July 12, 1985, at Okemah. Services were held July 15 at the Springfield Methodist Church. He was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard with the 120th Engineer Battalion. The Okemah National Guard Unit served as his pallbearers and honor guard. Interment was in the family cemetery with Webb Funeral Home directing. He is survived by his parents, Louise Marie BERRYHILL of Okemah and Junior BERRYHILL of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Nadine FIXICO, Audry MILLER, and Bonita BERRYHILL; and two brothers, Victor BERRYHILL and Gregory BERRYHILL.
