COUCH was born September 22, 1900, in Creek Nation, Indian Territory. He died in December, 1984, in Coos Bay, Oregon, where he had lived for 40 years. He was an original allottee of the Creek Nation. Funeral services were held December 31 in Coos Bay, OR. No other details of the funeral or interment were given. He is survived by his daughter, Peggy ELLIS of Coos Bay, OR; his four sons, Roy L. COUCH and James COUCH, both of North Platte, NE, and Jack COUCH of Hawaii; one brother, John C. COUCH of South Point, Ohio; three sisters, Gertie NEWBERRY and Ocie MILLER both of Porter, and Allie Bell CORWIN of Wagoner; 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
