He died March 10, 1985. Funeral services were held March 12 in the Bixby Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jonas PARTRIDGE and Rev. Roy BIGPOND officiating. No information on Interment. He was a member of the Snake Creek Indian Baptist Church and had served on the Liberty School Board for seven years. His father were Roy "Blue" GIBSON, deceased, and Ruth Brown GIBSON, who survives. Survivors are his three children, Jimmy GIBSON, Regina GIBSON, and Bobbie GIBSON, all of Liberty; his mother of Mounds; two sisters, Lahoma HOLLOWAY of Tulsa and Shirley MEDLOCK of Glenpool; one brother, Bill GIBSON of Mounds; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
