He died November 3, 1986. He was a retired rancher. Wake services were held November 5 with funeral services on November 6. Both services were at the New Town Methodist Church, where he was a member. Pallbearers were Solomon KELLY, Ralph FOX, Bill WILBURN, John MONTGOMERY, Jackie JACKSON, and Rodney DUROSSETT. Interment was in the New Town Cemetery. Surviving him were his daughter, Lucille FACTOR of Okmulgee; his step-daughter, Ms. Jack POWELL of Woodbine, MD; one step-son, Freeland DOUGLAS of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
