He died January 10, 1986, at Henryetta. Funeral services were held January 14 at the Jack Family residence, Hanna. Interment was in the the Jack Family cemetery. He was a retired farm worker, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Trenton Indian Baptist Church in Hanna. Survivors include his wife, Louma JACK, of the home; two sons, Elmer JACK of the home, and Jimmy JACK of Dustin; five daughters, Angela HARJO of Wetumka, Pauline SMITH of Dustin, and Leann JACK, Jeanetta JACK, and Joan HARJO, all of the home.
