JIMBOY was born March 26, 1926, in Okfuskee County. She died October 31, 1986, in her home. She had been a resident of the county all her life. Funeral services were held in November at the Creek Chapel Methodist Church, where she was a member. Officiating was Rev. Louis HARJO. No other information was given on the funeral or interment. She was survived by her husband, Paul R. JIMBOY of the home. They had been married since 1943. Other survivors include her three sons, Richard JIMBOY, Ronnie JIMBOY, and Ray JIMBOY, all of the home; her six daughters, Deanna ELM of Dallas, TX, Wanda LeFLORE of Lawrence, KS, Pauline “Marie” FAUBION of Dallas, TX, Judy ST. ARNOLD of Silver Springs, MD, Edna JIMBOY of Clearview, Joanna BIRDCREEK of Supulpa; her mother, Melisa K. HARJO; one brother, Joseph ANDERSON of Okemah; three sisters, Ella SEVERS of Okemah, Eliza BERRYHILL of Preston, and Lucinda HARJO of Okemah; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild
