SEVERS was born August 16, 1904, in Oklahoma Indian Territory. She died January 15, 1984, at her home in Wetumka. Funeral services were held January 18 at Sand Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie FISH and Rev. Jimmy ANDERSON officiating. Pallbearers were Daniel BUCK, Sam YARGEE, Richard DUNSON, Alec FISH, George ALEXANDER and Sam ALEXANDER. No information was given on the place of interment. She was the daughter of Hettie DUNSON and John ALEXANDER. She was preceded in death by her husband, Simond SEVERS, and her step-daughter, Lucy SEVERS, who died January 6. Her survivors include one son, James SAWYER of Coweta; one half-sister, Holly KENDRICK of Pawhuska; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
