He died September 14, 1986. Funeral services were held on September 16 and 17 at the Concharty Methodist Church, where he had been a member and speaker. Rev. Newman FRANK officiating these services and Rev. Almer BERRYHILL assisted in the graveside service at the Tecumseh Family Cemetery. He was a World War II veteran. His parents were Eddie and Emma Bruner TECUMSEH. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn TECUMSEH, of the home; two sons, Andy TECUMSEH, Jr., and Alex TECUMSEH, both of Okmulgee; five granddaughters, Tonya and LaDonna TECUMSEH of Mounds, Sehoya and LeeAnn TECUMSEH of Okmulgee, and Melissa TECUMSEH; one grandson, Aaron TECUMSEH of Okmulgee; two brothers and one sister, Ellis TECUMSEH, John TECUMSEH, and Nicey WILSON, and his mother, Emma TECUMSEH, all of rural Okmulgee.
