She died March 12, 1984, in the Creek Nation Community Hospital at Okemah. Following Wake services on March 15 in the Shurden Funeral Chapel and Night services that night at the Yardeka Indian Baptist Church, her funeral services were held the next day at the Yardeka church with Rev. Roley HAYNES officiating, assisted by Rev. Josh HARJO. Pallbearers were Jimmy JONES, Ed MOORE, Jr., Carney ROBERTS, Ken GRIMES, Phil HOMERATHA, and Perry BEAVER. Interment was in the Yardeka Cemetery. Prior to her death, she had lived at 108 South Okmulgee in Okmulgee. She was a member of the Yardeka church where she was a Woman's Leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cody TIGER, January 11, 1967. Survivors include her four sons, Kenneth TIGER, Matthew TIGER, and Martin TIGER, all of Okmulgee, and George TIGER of Anadarko; one brother, David HARJO of Okemah; and ten grandchildren.
