VICKERY was born January 10, 1929, at Ramona. He died January 10, 1986, at Bakersfield, CA. At the request of his daughters, no funeral service was held. Cremation was by Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, Bakersfield, CA. He had grown up at Eufaula, served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1951, and worked many years as a farm hand to support his family. He had resided in Bakersfield since 1952. He is survived by his children, Linda MARBERRY, Brenda BLACKBURN, Kathy HARBIN, Karen TURNEY, and Robert VICKERY; his sisters, Margaret FLOYD of Eufaula and Mamie BEAVER of Bakersfield, CA; his brothers, David VICKERY of Eufaula and Emanuel VICKERY of McLoud; his grandmother May NEWPORT; and several grandchildren and other relatives.
