WILSON was born March 1, 1915, in Newby Creek. She died in December 11, 1986, at her home in Haskell. An Indian Prayer service was held Thursday, December 12, in the Leonard Funeral Chapel in Bixby. Funeral services were held at the chapel the following day with Rev. Thomas ROUGHFACE officiating. Pallbearers were Earl WHEELER, Charles JONES, Brian EDGE, Harold T. MILLER, Jackie MILLER, and Thomas WILSON. Burial was in the Haskell Cemetery. The family requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Mutteloke Methodist Church. She had attended Iron Post Schools in Gypsy, south of Bristow . She was a member of the Mutteloke Methodist Church in Bristow, served on the General Board of Global Ministries from 1980-1985, and was a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service, where she also was elected to serve at the Conference and National division. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wade BUCKTROT, Alvin BUCKTROT, and Tony BUCKTROTT. She was survived by her husband, Silas WILSON; four sisters, Phoebe JONES, Alice WHEELER, and Hazel TIGER, all of Bristow, and Ruth CRITTENDEN of Stillwell; a host of nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.
