He died February 15, 1988, in the Creek Nation Community Hospital. Funeral services were held February 18 at Prairie Springs Church with Rev. Joe SMITH officiating. Interment was in the Prairie Springs Church Cemetery under the direction of Webbs Funeral Service. He was survived by his wife, Serida Hicks FIXICO, of the home; and his seven children, Myron FIXICO, Manuel FIXICO, Alan FIXICO, Curtis FIXICO, Scotty FIXICO, William FIXICO, Jr., and Tracy FIXICO, all of Okemah; his mother, Mattie FIXICO of Castle; his brothers and sisters, Jeanetta SMITH, Sandy FIXICO, Benny FIXICO, Richard FIXICO, Lloyd FIXICO and Kenneth FIXICO, all of Okemah, Edith BANEY of Heartsville, MO, Arthur FIXICO of Altus, and Jimmy FIXICO of Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
