He died August 25, 1989, in the Veterans Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of the Newtown Methodist Church. Funeral services were held August 29 at the Cantrell Ivory Chapel in Okmulgee. Interment was in the Okmulgee Cemetery. He married Mary CROFUL of Henryetta, August 1, 1960, in Okmulgee. She survives. His other survivors include his sons, Easter Sunday “Chebene” FIXICO, III, of Mannford, and Billy Joe FIXICO of Ponca City; and two granddaughters.
