He died March 6, 1988, in a Tulsa hospital. Funeral services were held March 9 under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home. No other details were given about his death, funeral, or interment. He is survived by his wife, Joanna HARJO, of the home; his four children, Jonathan HARJO, Bill HARJO, Shelley HARJO, and Christie HARJO, all of the home; his parents, William HARJO of Holdenville, and Eileen HOBIN of Wetumka; three brothers, Floyd HARJO of Choctaw, Vincent HARJO of Holdenville, and Cletis CULLY of Wetumka; his sister, Loretta HOBIN of Wetumka; and his grandmother, Nora BRUNER of Wetumka.
