She died February 12, 1988, in Okemah. Funeral services were held at the Weleetka First Baptist Church with Rev. George JESSE, Frank BELVIN and Grant WYSE officiating. Interment followed at the Robison Family Cemetery in Weleetka under the direction of Buckley-Williamson Funeral Home. She was married to Joseph TORRES in 1945 and they made their home in southern California until his death in 1968. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Dorothy TORRES, in 1963, two sisters and two brothers. Her survivors include her other children, Michael TORRES of Guthrie, Donna CAMPBELL of North Hollywood, CA, and Barbara ALMSTEAD of Bellevue, WA; a brother Charles Ray COLEMAN of Van Nuys, CA; sisters, Mildred APPLE of Bethany and Dorothy BURDEN of Weleetka; eight grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
