HORTON was born February 26, 1909, at Holdenville. She died December 27, 1989, at Tulsa. Funeral services were held December 30 at Big Cussetah United Methodist Church. No other information was given on the funeral or interment. She was a member of Middle Creek Indian Baptist Church in Lamar. She attended Eufaula and Riverside Boarding Schools and graduated from Chilocco High School. She was retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 1966 at Lawton. She was the daughter of Willie FOX and Cora Alexander FOX, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert HORTON, in December 1980; and her sister, Della Mae BEAVER in January 1990. Her survivors include her two daughters, Anna HANCOCK of Okmulgee, and Bobbie Sue ERWIN of Clearwater, KS; her son, Lewis HORTON of Ft. Smith, AR; four grandsons, Ronnie HANCOCK of Okmulgee, Michael HORTON of Arlington, TX, and Mark HORTON of Lawton; two granddaughters, Stacy ERWIN of Clearwater, KS, and Janet CROW of Lawton; two great grandchildren, Jessica Elizabeth ERWIN of Okmulgee, and Justin Robert CROW of Lawton; six nieces and three nephews.
