He died April 19, 1990, in Oklahoma City. Funeral services were held April 24 at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Wilson HICKS officiating. Pallbearers were Louis MORGAN, Sammy DEERE, Bruce RANDALL, Jimmy DEERE, Bunky LOWE and Sonny ROBERTS. Honorary pallbearers were Rocky RANDALL, Dean DEERE, Raymond LOWE, Roy ROBERTS, Rusty LOWE and Adrian BIRDCREEK. Burial was a Nuyaka Cemetery. He was the son of Frisco and Frances Birdcreek ROBERTS, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Kevin ROBERTS of Tulsa; six brothers, Joe Edward CONARD of Dallas, Mandell ROBERTS of Tulsa, Terry ROBERTS and Randy ROBERTS, both of Oklahoma City, and Allen ROBERTS and Tony ROBERTS, both of Fort Arthur, TX; and two sisters, Shirley YARGEE of Weleetka and Ida ROBERTS of Tulsa.
