She died November 19, 1990, in St. Francis Medical Center in Tulsa. Three services were held for her. Prayer service was November 22 in the Leonard Funeral Home Chapel, wake services were November 23 followed by her funeral November 24, both held at Concharty Indian Methodist Church, where she was a member. Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Harry LONG and Rev. Newman FRANK. Burial was in the Tecumseh family cemetery. She lived in Okmulgee all her life. Her parents were Miller BRUNER and Lucy Colbert BRUNER, both deceased. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Eddie TECUMSEH, on December 14, 1971. Her survivors include her two sons, Ellis TECUMSEH and John TECUMSEH, both of Okmulgee; her daughter, Nicey WILSON of Haskell; one brother, Tony BRUNER of Haskell; 17 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.
