   Creek citizens from across Creek Nation 
   
   BIGHEAD
   MOUNDS - Konzie BIGHEAD, Jr. was born October 22, 1931, in Mounds. She
   died in April 1991. No day of death was given. Funeral services were
   held in the Pickett Chapel Indian Methodist Church, where he was a
   member. Officiating the service were Rev. Thomas LONG and Mike HARJO.
   Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs.
   He attended Chilocco School and Liberty High School. He was a painter,
   had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a
   member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
   His survivors include his wife, Louise BIGHEAD; stepdaughters, Marie
   FOSHEE and Connie BUETNER, both of Amarillo, Tommie DEARMAN of
   Midland, TX, and Priscilla MASON of Sand Springs; stepsons, Chester
   LEWIS of Sand Springs, and Carl LEWIS of Kansas City; a sister, Mae
   TULSA of Mounds; and 18 grandchildren.
