She died in April 1991. No day of death was given. Funeral services were held in the Pickett Chapel Indian Methodist Church, where he was a member. Officiating the service were Rev. Thomas LONG and Mike HARJO. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs. He attended Chilocco School and Liberty High School. He was a painter, had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. His survivors include his wife, Louise BIGHEAD; stepdaughters, Marie FOSHEE and Connie BUETNER, both of Amarillo, Tommie DEARMAN of Midland, TX, and Priscilla MASON of Sand Springs; stepsons, Chester LEWIS of Sand Springs, and Carl LEWIS of Kansas City; a sister, Mae TULSA of Mounds; and 18 grandchildren.
