   BARNETT
   CHECOTAH - Lou Ella BARNETT was born February 20, 1919, in Checotah.
   She died April 3, 1991.  Funeral services were held April 5 in the
   First Baptist Church of Checotah, where she was a member. Officiating
   the service was Rev. Elbert SMITH. Pallbearers were George SMITH,
   Harold BACON, Stanley McINTOSH, Calvin JONES, Ken JETTON, and Clarence
   McGEHEE. Burial was in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
   She was a retired junior chemist from Phillips Petroleum Company and a
   retired bookkeeper from Panhandle Bank and Trust of Borger, TX. She
   was a member of Canadian River Gem and Mineral Society, various square
   dancing clubs and the First Baptist Church of Checotah. She was the
   daughter of Marshall D. and Jeanetta McIntosh TOWNSEND, both deceased.
   She was also preceded in death by her husband, Beryl B. BARNETT, Sr.,
   on February 1, 1989. Her survivors include her daughter, Marsha K.
   McGEHEE of Borger, TX; one brother, Yahola TOWNSEND of Checotah; three
   sisters, Wanema PRIDDY of Checotah, Lahoma CAMPBELL of Ft. Worth, TX,
   and Helena PATMAN of New Orleans; one granddaughter, Marisa Beryl
   BARNETT of Houston, TX; and two grandsons, Michael McGEHEE and
   Kristopher McGEHEE, both of Borger.
