She died April 16, 1991 in Okmulgee. Funeral services were held April 19 in the Concharty Indian Methodist Church with the Rev. Newman FRANK officiating. Burial was in the Bruner Family Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel BARNETT and Samaria Colbert BARNETT, her husband, Edward BRUNER, in 1957, and a son, Walter BARNETT, in 1989. She is survived by her daughter, Louvinia BRUNER of Okmulgee; two sons, Miller BRUNER and Robert BRUNER, both of Okmulgee; a half-sister, Kizzie MILLER of Stonebluff; three grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
