He died February 12, 1991, in Okmulgee. Funeral services were held February 14, 1991, Shurden Chapel in Henryetta with Rev. Larry CHESSER officiating. Pallbearers were Felix HAYNES, Jay HAYNES, Donald SMITH, Andy TECUMSEH, Gerald SMITH and Robert SMITH. No information was given on the place of interment. He was a retired maintenance worker. He married the former Wanda NEWSOM in 1989. She survives. His other survivors include his three sons, Randy HAYNES of Sapulpa, Jonas HAYNES of Idaho, and James Haynes of Okmulgee; his six daughters, Angie HAYNES, Laura HAYNES, Sharmaine HAYNES, Michelle HAYNES, Kathy HAYNES, and Lynetta HAYNES; his mother, Annie HAYNES of Okmulgee; two brothers, Felix HAYNES of Okmulgee and Daniel HAYNES of Tulsa; four sisters, Marie CONLEY and Elouise BEAVER, both of Okmulgee, Cindy SMITH of Weleetka and Louise TECUMSEH of Twin Hills; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
