She died March 25, 1991, at the Creek Nation Community Hospital in Okemah. Funeral services were held March 29 at Sand Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member. No information was given on the place of interment. She was a retired baker and homemaker. She was employed for several years by the Lassen Hotel in Wichita, KS. She spent the last several years in Wetumka. She served for many years in the Sand Creek church as Sunday School teacher. She was the daughter of Aaron and Miley Johnson YARHOLA, both deceased. Her husband, Albert (Mongey) HARJO, also preceded her in death on September 26, 1989. She was survived by her two sons, Glenn HARJO of Wichita and Gene HARJO of Ada; and her daughter, Delores MAMBI of the home; 13 grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
