He died April 21, 1991, at Claremore Indian Hospital. Information on the date and place of the funeral and interment was not given. Pallbearers were Jesse MCINTOSH, Jr., Jimmy MCINTOSH, Paul MCINTOSH, Jr., Barney MCINTOSH, Shawn JAMES, Larry NOBLE, and Billy BROWN. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1949 where he won recognition for outstanding achievements in football and baseball. He attended Bacone College in Muskogee and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed with the Tulsa County Highway Department for 35 years. He was a lifetime member of the Haikey Chapel United Methodist Church. He was the son of Rev. Ben McINTOSH and Ella McINTOSH, both deceased. He married the former Betty DRAKE in 1955. She survives. His other survivors include his son, Wayne “Sonny” MCINTOSH; his daughter, Lynne McIntosh PHILLIPS; three grandchildren, Brandy, Brandon, and Shauna (no last names given); four brothers, Murphy MCINTOSH, Jesse MCINTOSH, Ben “Luke” MCINTOSH, and Paul MCINTOSH; and many nieces and nephews.
