No year of birth was given. She died August 8, 1991, at Creek Nation Community Hospital. Funeral services were held August 12 at Sand Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member. The services were officiated by Rev. Woody FIELDS and Rev. Ledon BUCKLEY. Pallbearers were Lance HARJO, Sonny MCKINNEY, Clifford BUCKLEY, Bronco HARJO, Ben GIVENS, and Robert BERRYHILL. She had attended Bacone College in Muskogee and worked at Lillian Russell Manufacturing in Wewoka and Seam Proof in Holdenville as a seamstress for many years. She was the daughter of Bunny and Betsy Fife HARJO, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam PROCTOR in 1954, and four brothers. Her survivors include her daughter, Betsy PROCTOR of Wetumka; a brother, Shot HARJO of Wetumka; and several other relatives and friends.
