He died April 19, 1991, in Henryetta. Funeral services were April 23 at the First Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a member. The service was officiated by Rev. Kenneth MAJOR. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka. He was a construction work. His survivors include his wife, Mary SIMMER of the home, his son, William SIMMER of Modesto, CA; two grandsons, one granddaughter, one great grandson, one great granddaughter and two step-daughters.
