She died in January 1992. No death day or place was given. Funeral services were held at the Tallahassee Methodist Church near Okmulgee, where she was a member. Officiating the service were Rev. George BRUNER, Thomas LONG and John BICKNER. Pallbearers were Rusy POWELL, Howard SMITH, Faren BUNNY,Kenneth SCOTT, Monty BUNNY and Greg BERRYHILL. Interment was in the Tallahassee Methodist Cemetery. She served as Women’s Leader for over 40 years at Tallahassee Church. She was a former member of Hickory Ground #2 tribal town. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lona STARR and Emily Smith STARR; her husband, Rev. Togo BERRYHILL; a half-brother, Eli STARR; half-sisters, Louise Starr TAYLOR and Mary Hicks SMITH. Her survivors include her sons, Bob C. KING of Tulsa, and Alfred BERRYHILL of Okmulgee; her daughters, Emily King BUNNY of Henryetta, and Veronica SCOTT of Tulsa; eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
