He died June 21, 1992, in Oklahoma Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. A memorial services was held June 23 at the Cedar River Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew DEERE and Rev. Barney WALKER officiating. Pallbearers were Timothy JACKSON, Alex HARJO, Eddie JACKSON, Herb DRAWBECK, Pete JOHNSON, and Kenny JACKSON. Honorary Pallbearers were Jimmy HARJO, James HARJO, and Jeffery John JACKSON. Burial was at the Cedar River Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. He was the son of Jackson and Lucy Harrison HARJO, both deceased. His survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, William and Edythe HARJO of Holdenville; a half sister, Tonya FAYE of Oklahoma City; and several other friends and relatives.
