JONES was born June 5, 1930, at Edna. He died in January 1992 in Muskogee. No day of death was given. Funeral services were held January 13 at the Montesoma Baptist Church in Haydonville, where he was a member. Officiating the service was Rev. Hiawatha FIXICO. Pallbearers were Bunnie FACTOR, David LENA, Dennis CONARD, Mark PEEPER, John S. KING and Joe CHILDERS. Interment was in the Montesoma Cemetery. He was an oilfield worker and the son of Wesley and Lucinda JONES. His father is deceased. He was married to Emma Jean JONES at Okemah. She survives. His other survivors include his mother Lucinda BEAR of Okemah; his five daughters, Della PEEPER, Maxine HUBBELL and Ceila SEXTON, all of Slick and Margie CHILDERS of Henryetta; one brother, Maxie BEAR of Okemah; and 12 grandchildren.
