She died January 5, 1992, at the Lakeview Community Hospital in Eufaula at the age of 91. Funeral services were held January 9 at Tuskegee Baptist Church, where she was a member. Officiating were Rev. James Rudolph COLBERT and Morris BARNETT. Burial was in the Tuskegee Cemetery. She lived in Okeechobee, FL, for 29 years before returning to Oklahoma in 1976. She was the daughter of Charley and Jennie BARNETT, both deceased. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert KING. She is survived by a grandson, Allen STOVER of Dallas; two great-grandsons, Rodney STOVER and Brian STOVER, both of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews. No names of her children were given.
