She died December 28, 1991. Funeral services were held December 31at the Hanna Indian Community Center with Rev. Boney McINTOSH officiating. Music was provided by Millie COLBERT. Pallbearers were Daniel HARJO, Lewis HARJO, Alex HARJO, Woodrow HARJO, Steve HARJO and Paul HARJO, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Marcus HARJO and Ricky HARJO. Burial was at the Jackson Cemetery. She had attended Euchee Boarding School and was a member of the New Arbor Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and an active church worker who loved to quilt and fish. She was the daughter of Cosar and Sally Fixico HARJO, both deceased. Also preceding her in death was her son, Jack HARJO. She is survived by three sons, George HAWKINS of Hanna, Judea HARJO of Tulsa, and Paul HARJO of Broken Arrow; one brother, Coweta CHISHOLM of Stidham; 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
