Andrew ALBERT was born October 6, 1918, near Wetumka. He died June 19, 1993, at his home in Wetumka. Funeral services were held at the Thlopthlocco United Methodist Church with Rev. Earl DUNSON of Glenpool officiating. Pallbearers were friends and relatives. Burial was in the Thlopthlocco cemetery under the direction of the Williamson Funeral Home of Wetumka. He was raised in the Wetumka area and attended Mingo grade school and Wetumka High School. He entered the ministry in the 1950s beginning at the Thlopthlocco church. Following is ordination, he pastored several Indian Methodist churches throughout the state. He took an early retirement in the 1970s because of ill health. He was a member of the Yeager Mission United Methodist Church. He is survived by a brother, Edward SCOTT of Wetumka; two nephews, David R. BARNETT and Daniel J.BARNETT, both of Baton Rouge, LA; cousins Maxine HARJO of Wetumka and Anna SPAINARD of Okmulgee; and several other relatives and friends.
