He died in July, 1993, in Okmulgee. No day of death was given. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ, where he was a member. Officiating the service were Jack WAY and David INMAN.Charles CARGILL. Pallbearers were Charles CARGILL, Kevin COPELAND, Ted KALTENBACH, George SNOW, Orval SPEARS, and Bud TURNER. Interment was in the Okmulgee Cemetery. He was employed by Ada Milling Company, Ada, and Bailey Motor Company, Okmulgee He was an original allottee and the son of David and Kathryn BENSON, both deceased. In September 15, 1928, he married Stella JONES, who survives. His other survivors include his children, Paula MARTIN and Phillip BENSON, both of Okmulgee; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren.
