He died October 13, 1993, at his home in Henryetta. Funeral services were held October 16 at Immanueal Baptist Church. A Rose Croix Scottish Rite Ceremony was held during the service. Interment was at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired American Airllines employee. He was a charter member of the Henryetta Masonic Lodge, a member of the Manford Masonic Lodge, and the Scottish Rite in both McAlester and Tulsa. He was former Masonic grand priest of the state of Oklahoma and former master of the Manford lodge. He was the son of Kogee FIELDS and Peggie HARPER, both deceased. He was married to the former Estalene CHISOLM in 1983. She survives. He is also survived by his son, Paul FIELDS of Fort Payne, AK; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; several step children; and a sister, Sarah Farber of Wetumka.
