He died seven months later on June 26, 1993. Funeral services were held June 30 at the Merrit Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers were Audie LAUGHLIN, Martin LAUGHLIN, Edgar LAUGHLIN, and Bobby HARJO. Honorary bearers were Robert BURNS and Shane LAUGHLIN. Burial was in the Lenna cemetery. His survivors include his parents, Johnny Lee HARJO and Patricia Ann LAUGHLIN; one sister, Erica LAUGHLIN,and two brothers, Johnthan HARJO and Brett HARJO, all of the home; grandparents Christine and Robert BURNS of Eufaula, and Cecil and Peggy CARDER of Okmulgee; one great-grandmother, Hattie HARJO of Weleetka; several aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins.
