No information was given on her birth date or place, or death date or place. Funeral services were held at the Stout Funeral Home Chapel inWewoka officiated by Rev. Jimmy ANDERSON, Rev. Eddie LINDSEY, and Rev. Paul WHITTAKER. No information was given on the date or place of her death. Burial was in the Buck Family Cemetery. She and her husband worked in the Baptist ministry for many years. They served in the Wewoka Indian Baptist Church, as a missionary to the Beaver, Vian Creek, Sand Springs, and Cedar Springs churches under the direction of the Muscogee-Seminole-Wichita Indian Baptist Association. Her ministry also included mission work in Okmulgee with college students, the Clinton Indian Baptist Church, and Brighton Indian Reservation in Florida. In 1984, she returned to Oklahoma where she and her husband pastored the Glenpool Indian Baptist Mission. She was married to Rev. Elliott LEITKA in May, 1937, inWewoka. He preceded her in death in April 1989. She is survived by her five children, Elliott LEITKA, Jr., of Carson, CA, Sarah WARD and Wanda JONES, both of Shawnee, Ruthie BURGESS of Okmulgee, and Loretta DENNY of Glenpool; one stepson, Eugene LEITKA of Albuquerque, NM; one stepdaughter, Betty PASSAH of Oklahoma City; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
