She died September 27, 1993, in Okmulgee. Funeral services were held September 30 at Newtown United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The services were officiated by Rev. Greg KEITH, assisted by Rev. Dave LONG, Jr. Pallbearers were Gary CALIP, Johnny WHITFIELD, Ronnie WARRIOR, Michael TIGER, Joe TIGER, Jr., and Bill DOWDY. Interment was in the Newtown Cemetery. She was employed by the Creek Nation Housing Authority. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mattie LONG. She was preceded in death by her mother and her son, Bryan BEATTY. She was survived by son, Eric BEATTY, and her father; sisters, Vicky WATASHE, Minnie WOLFE, and Sidney LONG, all of Okmulgee, Thomasine LONG of Mounds, and Lou Ann MESSER of Muskogee; brothers, Bobby LONG of Okmulgee and Guy LONG of Tulsa; seven nephews and four nieces.
