He died in December 7, 1992. Funeral services were held December 11 at Thlopthlocco United Methodist Church with Rev. Ray McGILRAY officiating. He was the son of Jimmie and Annie King SULLIVAN, both deceased. His survivors include his wife, Arlene SULLIVAN, of Oklahoma City; a son, Barry Ernest SULLIVAN of Gainesville, GA; three daughters, Vicki SULLIVAN, Margaret Ann McGUFFEE, and Jean BURNETT, all of Oklahoma City; a half-brother, George COOK of Okemah; four sisters, Lucille DUNSON of Glenpool, Lea DUNSON of Seminole, Mamie DOXTATOR of Anchorage, AK, and Minnie JOHNSON of Okemah; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.
