She died July 12, 1993, in Tulsa. Funeral services were held July 15 at the First Baptist Church of Paden with Rev. Brett ALLEN officiating. Burial was in the Grant Chapel cemetery in Welty. She was a member of the Paden First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Allen WHITSON and three grandchildren. Her survivors include her five sons, Danny WHITSON of Dallas, TX, Tommy WHITSON of Celina, TX, Ralph WHITSON of CA, Russel WHITSON of Altus, and Ronald WHITSON of Prague; five daughters, Martha McAFEE of Celina, TX, Patricia STOVER and Paula LIVELY, both of Magnum, Claudia WHITSON of Paden, and Sharon HENRY of Welty; 56 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
