Felix ALEXANDER was born December 9, 1930, in Kellyville. She died August 10,1994, at Sherwood Manor Nursing Center at Tulsa. Funeral services were held October (?)14 at Pickett Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Rev. John LOWE and Rev. Julienne JUDD officiated. Interment was in the Felix Family Cemetery. She was a full blood Yuchi. She graduated from Haskell Institute in Lawrence, KS, worked as an insurance clerk for Muscogee Nation, and was active in the Creek Nation Rodeo Club. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Felix WALKER, and a brother, James FELIX, Jr. She was survived by her three sons, Robert ALEXANDER and William ALEXANDER, both of Kellyville, and Jimmy ALEXANDER of Tulsa; her daughter, Sunshine King HUNTER of Okmulgee; a brother, Amos FELIX, Jr., of Kellyville; three sisters, Irene PARKINSON, Bessie CAHWEE, and Sarah WHINERY, all of Kellyville; and four grandchildren.
