He died April 5, 1994, at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held April 9 at Buckeye Baptist Church. Interment was in the New HICKS Family Cemetery. He was a laborer, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and the son of Lonnie and Annie Coker BEAR. His father is deceased. His mother survives. He was married to Susanna DEERINGWATER in 1974. She survives. He is also survived by his three sons, Dale BEAR of Bartlesville, Mike BEAR of Okmulgee, and Gaylan BEAR of Kellyville; his four daughters, Lonnaetta BEAR, Mary BEAR, and Dana BEAR, all of Clewiston, FL, and Diana BAKER of Okemah; a sister, Pat NOON of Okemah; three brothers, Lon BEAR, Clifford BEAR, and Ashley BEAR, all of Okemah; and nine grandchildren.
