She died December 27, 1993, at Okemah. Funeral services were held December 31 at Hickory Ground Baptist Church No. 2, where she was a member. Rev. Robert WASHINGTON officiated the service. No information was given on the place of interment. She had been women’s leader at the Hickory Ground church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bunnie John BRUNER. She is survived by her sons, Louis Lett BRUNER and Jake BRUNER, both of Wichita, KS, and Albert BRUNER of Mounds; her daughters, Elouise GAMBLER of Henryetta, Elizabeth BARNETT of Lamar; a brother, Claude FIELDS of Henryetta; 25 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
