She died January 22, 1994, at Henryetta Medical Center. Funeral services were held January 24 at Shurden Chapel, with Rev. Arlyn CLARY officiating. Pallbearers were Canuky ALWERT, Chuch CHONEY, Pat DEACON, Bill FIFE, Mike STILL, and John WOLF. Honorary pallbearers were Jim ADAMS, Robert ALWERT, Evelyn BROGDON, Brian FIFE, Tim FIFE, Dean JOJOLA, John JOJOLA, Bedixie KING, Kalon KING, J.C. MOUSER, Jack ROBINSON, Ellen WILLIS, and Bob WOLF. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Okfuskee County Home Demonstration Club, Thewarle Baptist Church, and the Women’s Auxiliary of the American legion Post in Dustin. She was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Mary Frances Durbin KING; her husband, Taylor Lowe FIFE, whom she married in 1924 at Weleetka; and an infant daughter, Marilyn FIFE. She was survived by her four daughters, Helen Fife JAJOLA and Betty Jo MOUSER, both of Eufaula, Geraldine WOLF of Sand Springs, and Loretta Fay ALWERT of Enid; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
