He died February 9, 1994. Funeral services were held February 12 at Shurden Chapel with Rev. Eugene WHITLOW officiating. Pallbearers were Rufus WHITLOW, Jeff BYINGTON, Brian FIFE, Tim FIFE, Richard GAMBLER, and Frank BELCHER. Honorary pallbearers were Willard WEST, Bill FIFE, Phillip COON, and Bob WASHINGTON. No information was given on the place of interment. He was a forklift operator for Unit Rig in Tulsa for 22 years. He was the son of Joe and Juanita West FIFE. His father preceded him in death. His survivors include his mother of Dustin; brothers, Richard “Tuskee” PHILLIPS of Tulsa, and Bill FIFE of Sapulpa; sisters, Frances BELCHER of Checotah and Anna Jo WEFER of Sapulpa; and two nieces.
