He died October 18, 1994. Funeral services were held October 20 in the Shurden Chapel with Rev. Tommy WEAVER officiating. Pallbearers were Clayton DODGE, Jim LANE, Woxie RYAL, Larry HARJO, Warren HARJO, and Paul HARJO. Honorary pallbearers were Robert PRENDLY, Thurman HIGGENS, George HICKS, Houston HICKS, and Doyle CUNNINGHAM. Interment was in the Hanna Cemetery. He was retired from Phillips Petroleum Company and a member of Grace Assemly Church. He was a World War II veteran. He married Gladys HARRIS in 1942. She survives. He also was survived by his daughter, Mary EWING of Lubbock, TX; his son, Don FIELDS of Amarillo, TX; one grandson and two granddaughters.
